On the 10th and 11th of November, we organized a Multiplier Event about the European Prescribing Exam. With over 30 teachers in clinical pharmacology and therapeutic from 17 different European countries, this meeting was a great success!
On the first day of the event we discussed how the Exam has been set up, shared the first results of the validation study, and finished the day with a World Cafe. During the latter, we discussed the bricks and barriers for implementing the exam in European universities. This results and insights will be published in a peer-reviewed journal in 2023.
The second day started with a Workshop on creating exam questions. It showed us how difficult it is to create questions of high quality, but also that by working together this could be achieved! During the rest of the day universities not involved in the project and the Early Career Clinical Pharmacologists of the EACPT showed how they already implemented the Exam, or who they plan to do this. The day was finished with a teaser for the Multiplier Event of The European Open Platform for Prescribing Education which will be held in June 2023.
