In this special letter to the editor, we respond to a 1993 paper published in the BJCP. We highlight the progress made in teaching and training clinical pharmacology and therapeutics (CPT) over the past 30 years. Additionally, we present an updated version of one of Prof. Theo de Vries’ well-known cartoons.
